Funded by the Child Development Bureau, the Early Childhood Tuition Assistance Grant will cover the full tuition for individuals taking their first Early Childhood Education College course or partial tuition for Early Childhood courses for all others who are eligible. To be eligible, students must be currently employed at a New Hampshire State licensed child care center, a family based child care center or work in a New Hampshire ECE Resource and Referral Network Agency a minimum of 20 hours a week.  Through Granite State College or the Community College System of NH, you can access this grant.

boost NH (Better Out-Of-School Time NH) - Their goal is to provide technical assistance, training, and consultation, both phone and on-site, to after school program administrators and staff. For more information call 206-6800.

Child and Adult Care Food Program CACFP is the Child and Adult Care Food Program. Check this site out for information for NH.

NH Healthy Kids provides access to affordable, quality health and dental coverage to uninsured children and teens in New Hampshire.

The Family Resource Connection (FRC) is a free resource that any NH resident can utilize. They have an entire library collection devoted to issues that concern families and child care educators alike.

Early Learning New Hampshire (ELNH) is a non-profit organization committed to ensuring that all New Hampshire children have the opportunity to reach their full potential by expanding access to affordable quality child care and early education; supporting the child care industry; building public-private partnerships; and helping families balance work and family.

The Children’s Alliance promotes policies and practices that enable all children to lead healthy and productive lives and to reach their full potential.

NH Association for the Education of Young Children(NHAEYC) mission is to support and advance the professional development of affiliate members in their efforts to provide quality early care and education for the children of New Hampshire.

The Preschool Technical Assistance Network (PTAN) Child Care Inclusion Program is grant funded by the Child Development Bureau to provide NH child care programs with consultation and training that promotes their successful inclusion and retention of children with challenging behaviors and other special needs.

The Child Care Advisory Council is a legislatively enacted statewide forum which responds to child care issues and facilitates resource and information on early care and education in NH.  Meetings are held on a monthly basis.

The New Hampshire Community Loan Fund’s Child Care Facilities program works to increase the number and the quality of child care and early education opportunities across New Hampshire.   To find out about an exciting opportunity for qualified applicants, please access the information about Individual Development Accounts (IDA).

National Resources

National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies(NACCRRA) is our nation’s leading voice for child care. We work with more than 700 state and local Child Care Resource and Referral agencies nationwide.

Child and Adult Care Food Program CACFP is the Child and Adult Care Food Program, a Federal program that provides healthy meals and snacks to children and adults enrolled in child care. It plays a vital role in improving the quality of child care and making it more affordable for many low-income families. CACFP reimburses participating centers and family child care providers for their meal costs.

National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is dedicated to improving the well-being of all young children, with particular focus on the quality of educational and developmental services for all children from birth through age 8. NAEYC is committed to becoming an increasingly high performing and inclusive organization.

National Association of Family Child Care is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting quality child care by strengthening the profession of family child care.

Child Care and Early Education Research Connections promotes high quality research in child care and early education and the use of that research in policy making. Our vision is that children are well cared for and have rich learning experiences, and their families are supported and able to work.

American Academy of Pediatrics(AAP) Dedicated to the health and well-being of infants, children, adolescents and young adults
